Kalavasos Dam Clean-Up
The Cyprus Freshwater Angling Association (CFAA) within its social contribution program has organized a cleaning event at Kalavasos water dam on Saturday, 25/11/2023, in collaboration with the 27th Limassol Sea Scout System. This was followed by a demonstration of fishing techniques by members of the CFAA for the participating scouts. The event was a success as a big amount of rubbish was collected from the banks of the water dam. At the same time, all the scouts had the opportunity to receive the basic knowledge for freshwater fishing.
We would like to thank the 27th Limassol Sea Scout System for their excellent cooperation and essential help in the cleaning event.
Also, we thank the Kalavasos’ community leader and the community as a whole for their support and the assistance in loading and transporting the garbage which was collected to the landfill.
