Phivos Fishing Day
On Saturday 11th of May 2024, a friendly, team fishing competition was held in memory of the former president and long-time member of our Association, ‘Phivos Papachristoforou’. The event took place at Tamasos dam, on the occasion of the completion of 2 years since the loss of our dear Phivos. The purpose of the event was to gather people who love fishing and spend a pleasant afternoon fishing together and at the same time, to give the opportunity to new people to have a first contact with the sport of fishing. The goal of the Association is for the event to become an institution and to be held every year at such a time at Tamasos dam. For the records, the winners were the team of Giorgos Deliyiannis and Constantinos Kallis. Lazaros Leontiades and Yianniw Shittas finished in second place, while Christodoulos Phylakty, Giorges Efstathiou and Kyriakos Efstathiou finished third.
