Results – Photos of the 3rd Competition

The tragic loss of our dear friend and member of the association Phivos Papachristoforou has led to the interruption of the 3rd competition in May and to the canceling of the next competition that was to take place in June. Therefore, on the 24th of September the third in a row competition for the Moondog’s Cyprus Bass Tournament was completed at Arminou dam. Before the start of the competition a moment of silence was held in memory for our dear friend Phivo whose absence from the competition was greatly sensed. The weather conditions where ideal during the day and the fish activity at certain periods intense which favored a lot of the contestants to catch the 5 fish limit. Among the highlights of the competition was the fishing of a large number of small bass (under 30 cm) by all participants. Bonus fish (over 40cm) were very limited and that determined the top three winners. Nikolas Anastasakis finished in first place, Lazaros Leontiadis came in second, who had the biggest fish of the day (42 cm) and Petr Zika finished third.
