Results – Photos of the 3rd Competition
The third competition of the Moondog’s 2023 Cyprus bass Championship took place on Sunday 21/05/2023 at Kalavasos Dam. The competition was held in the morning, so the competitors gathered from 05:30 at the dam. The weather conditions were good since despite the prevailing sunshine, the temperature was not too high. In general, the fish were not particularly active, possibly due to the continuous decrease in the water level. In total, only 4 athletes managed to catch the 5 fish limit. The winner of the day was Nikolas Anastasakis, Giorgos Efstathiou finished in second place and Marios Stavrinou in third place. Four contestants (Yiannis Shittas, Lazaros Leontiadis, Pantelis Iona and Anastasios Chrysostomou) managed to catch a 45 cm long fish, which was also the biggest fish of the day.
