Results – Photos of the 4th Competition
On Saturday 25/9 the 4th race of Moondog’s CYPRUS BASS TOURNAMENT took place at Kouris dam. A difficult contest as it turned out since the fish were pulled in the deep and did not hunt. The water in Kouris went down in a week about one and a half million cubic meters and as a result it pulled away the small fish and their shields. The race had three starting points which covered much of the dam. Nikolas Anastasakis won the contest since he was the only athlete in this race who managed to get 5 fish as much as the limit. Another 6 fishermen managed to catch from 3 fish and shared the next positions based on size. Yuriy Rokatenko, who had the biggest fish of the day (45cm), finished second, and Louis Katsantonis finished in the third place. The championship is expected to be even more exciting as there are two more races left and the first 6 places have not been mathematically cleared up.
