Kouris Dam Clean-Up
The Cyprus Freshwater Angling Association (CFAA), once again this year, as part of its activities for social contribution, organized a cleaning of the reservoir in collaboration with the 27th Limassol Sea Scout System. This year’s event took place at the Kouris Reservoir on Saturday, November 23, 2024.
After the cleaning was completed, a fishing technique demonstration was held for the Scouts who participated, conducted by members of the Association. The event was a great success, as, in addition to the large volume of waste collected from the reservoir’s shores, the Scouts had the opportunity to learn the basics of freshwater fishing.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the 27th Limassol Sea Scouts System for their active participation and help with the cleanup. Our collaboration on such events has become a tradition, and we hope it will continue for many more years to come!
Additionally, we would like to thank the Alassa Community Council for their support and participation in the event, as well as for assisting in the removal of the collected waste.
